Navus, HLF’s own completions and certification platform, is live and ready to deploy.
It holds the completions record in one place, from the tag register and ITR libraries to punch lists, NCRs, redlines and the handover dossier, with document control and an audit trail.
It can run as part of an HLF completions or QA/QC service, or be set up for a client team to run themselves, with training and remote support.

HLF is adding ISO lead auditor services, and is working towards ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001.
The lead auditor service will cover internal and external audits of quality, health and safety, environmental and information security management systems.
HLF is working towards ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety), ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 27001 (information security). We will confirm here as each one is awarded.

Groundworks by our civils partner, with earthing and lightning protection installed, tested and certified by HLF.
Our civils partner carries out the excavation, trenching, ducting and reinstatement. HLF installs, tests and certifies the earth grids, bonding, lightning protection and surge protection.
Substations, battery storage, solar and industrial sites get one point of contact from the first dig to the test certificate.
Expert witness · October 2026
Formal expert witness training is under way, so HLF can give independent technical evidence in construction, EC&I and completions disputes.
The training covers the duties of an expert to the court or tribunal, report writing and giving evidence, with the aim of working in both the Scottish and the English and Welsh systems.
The service will cover NEC contract quality and acceptance, defects and specification compliance, EC&I and hazardous area installation, commissioning, completions and handover. We will confirm here when it opens.
